Building on the success of its full ‘Driveway to Runway’ offering, airport hospitality specialist No.1 Traveller has teamed up with Gatwick and Birmingham Airports to offer complimentary, premium security lane access this summer, for all passengers who book their airport lounge at No1Traveller.com.
Available to book now for flights from Thursday 23rd May, all departing passengers who purchase entry to one of No.1 Traveller’s premium lounges, located at Gatwick Airport’s North and South Terminals and Birmingham Airport will be able to skip the security queues at no extra cost.
For £22.50, passengers will be able to take advantage of Gatwick Airport’s Premium Security lane and Birmingham Airport’s Express Lane before enjoying No.1 Traveller’s lounge facilities which include a complimentary bistro-style menu, fully-tended bar and free Wi-Fi access. In addition, passengers flying out of No.1 Traveller’s ‘super-lounge’ located at Gatwick’s North Terminal will be able to enjoy access to the No.1 Travel Spa (treatments start from £10), showers, cinema, games rooms and family room. Furthermore, No.1 Traveller’s Gatwick South lounge now boasts additional seating facilities after undergoing an extension ahead of the busy summer period.
These new services build on the success of No.1 Traveller’s existing partnership with Stansted Airport where the ‘Premium Departures’ fast-track service was introduced in June 2011, and is available for all passengers looking to fly through security.
Howard Ebison, Head of Commercial at No.1 Traveller, said: “Our Driveway to Runway product range allows all departing passengers flying with any airline the opportunity to book everything they need to get to and through the airport at No1Traveller.com. We are dedicated to making the airport experience easier, more efficient and less stressful. Introducing Premium Security as a complimentary extra at two of the UK’s largest airports this summer will appeal to many travellers looking for a stress-free way to start their summer holiday before they take off.”
Guy Stephenson, Chief Commercial Officer at Gatwick Airport, said: “London Gatwick is pleased to continue its relationship with No.1 Traveller by helping to grow opportunities to serve travellers. Gatwick has invested £900m to date to drive improvements in the airport experience, delivering speed and quality across the passenger journey from award-winning new security processes including a dedicated premium security channel, quality business lounges such as No.1 Traveller, great rail links to central London, and immigration processes that exceed national standards.”
Martyn Lloyd , Commercial Director at Birmingham Airport, added: “This exclusive offer for No.1 Traveller customers will give passengers a superior experience when they fly from Birmingham. We’re confident many people will take advantage of this fantastic opportunity, as we prepare for yet another busy summer here at Birmingham Airport.”
